The Northeast PA Manufacturers & Employers Council
Mission Statement
Since 2006, the Northeast PA Manufacturers & Employers Council’s mission has been to provide programs and services that will develop a qualified workforce and competitive business community in northeastern Pennsylvania.
PROGRAMS
The Council offers a variety of workforce development programs designed to help students explore careers, build employability skills, and connect with local opportunities. These initiatives include the YES (Your Employability Skills) Northeast Certificate Program, the YES Northeast Workshop Series, the annual Schuylkill County Career Fair, Elementary Career Awareness, Career Integration Services, Internship Placements, and the Youth Employment Register.
